A TARTAN TALE

Created an iPad app with M·A·C cosmetics and Smashing Ideas to promote the holiday color collection for winter 2010.

M·A·C approached Smashing Ideas in need of an iPad experience that would show off their new color collection for the winter. They had created print collateral that was gorgeous so we used that imagery heavily in our thought process and layout. We designed an engaging iPad app filled with bats, shaking chandeliers and moving sailboats. The finished product is a richly interactive iPad app that lets you explore their collection in linear fashion. You flip through a digital version of the book they had created and on each page there is an animation that helps to bring the each section alive.
